My husband and have been married for the last eighteen years. We are blessed three wonderful and crazy children, one teenage son and two teenage daughters. While we reside in the Orlando area, like so many Floridians, we dream of retiring in the North Carolina mountains to escape from the heat of the summer. Our whole family is active in our church, school and community through a variety of organizations and charities. There are way too many activities to mention but the highlights are Boy Scouts, drama, and choir. As a family we love to go to the beach, the mountains (obviously), Broadway musicals, plays, movies or watch some Sci-Fi TV show.
As for me, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with LifeWorks Group in Winter Park. I specialize in working with exhausted women and their families. My previous experience as a lay-counselor at our church and a teacher for nearly every age group has allowed me to opportunity to relate to a variety of ages. My small business experience and stock broker past, further equips me for understanding the complicated dynamics of work and family. In my spare time, I love to write, speak, read, garden, and teach.
My book The Exhausted Woman’s Handbook is available for sale at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks. Click on this link for more information: http://exhaustedwoman.com/book/.
My belief and faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of me, my family and my work. This blog with its list of articles, commentaries, and devotions is a summation of the random thoughts floating around in my brain. It is my prayer that you are able to find hope, healing, nurturing, and restoration for all of the many relationships in your life.
