The original posting is a recipe from Southern Living http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/layered-spicy-black-bean-dip-10000001255001/. Because I had several cans of black beans already, I changed the recipe to the following:
2 packages of cream cheese
1 1/2 cans of black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can of diced spicy tomatoes (Mexican style), drained
1 container of sour cream
1 bag of shredded cheese (Taco style because it has seasoning)
1 can of pitted olives, sliced and drained
2 bags of guacamole flavored chips
Layer the ingredients above in the same order as listed except for the chips. Use the chips around the edge to add color. I used a large 12″ round cake pan.
The recipe was a hit!
